1. Pleasant Brewer was born in 1798 in Moore County, North Carolina. He died in 1871 in Bledsoe County, Tennessee.
Pleasant married Elizabeth Mathel Seal daughter of Peter Seal and Peters about 1819 in Randolph, North Carolina. Elizabeth was born about 1802 in Randolph, North Carolina. She died in 1887 in Cumberland County, Tennessee.
They had the following children:

2. Russell Brewer (Pleasant) was born on 22 Apr 1823 in Randolph, North Carolina. He died on 9 Jul 1876. Here is the 1850 census page for the family and here is the 1860 census page.
Russell married Elizabeth "Betsy" Rector, daughter of Benjamin Rector and Sarah S. Bryant in Bledsoe/Cumberland County, Tennessee. Elizabeth was born on 25 Nov 1819 in Tennessee. She died on 15 Jan 1885.
They had the following children:
11 M i. Corporal John Emmet Brewer was born on 15 Aug 1843 in Tennessee. He joined the 2nd Tennessee Infantry, Company D (Union) and was captured on Nov. 6, 1863 at Rogersvlle, Tennessee. He was sent to Andersonville Prison where he died on Aug. 21, 1864 of gangrene. He is buried in the Andersonville National Cemetery, grave 7430. He was 21 years and 7 days old.
12 F ii. Mary Emmalene Brewer was born on 19 Oct 1845 in Tennessee. She died on 16 Jul 1913 in Norwood, Missouri.
13 F iii. Sarah Angeline Brewer was born on 30 Jan 1848 in Tennessee. She died before 1860 in infancy.
14 F iv. Elizabeth Ann Brewer was born on 1 Apr 1849 in Tennessee. She died after 1860 in childhood.

Pleasant married (1) Nancy Emaline "Emma" Loyd daughter of Benjamin Franklin Loyd and Caroline Jane Hankins on 22 Feb 1877 in Tennessee. The marriage ended in divorce. Nancy was born on 8 Aug 1861 in Pikesville, Tennessee. She died on 25 Jul 1943 in Caldwell, Idaho. She was buried in Jul 1943.

John married Dora Ann Johnston daughter of Louis Columbus Johnston and Joanna Irene Katherine Simpson on 4 Aug 1907. Dora was born on 29 Aug 1891 in Jordan Brook, Sevier, Arkansas. + 29 F i. Emma Irene Brewer was born on 14 Nov 1908. She died on 10 Sep 1986. Here is a copy of the 1910 census page for her at age one. She and her mother are living with Dora's father, Lewis or Louis C. Johnston and his wife (Joanna) Irene Simpson. A picture of Joanna hung in the family home of William and Emma Elliott when they lived on Quitman in Denver, Colorado.
30 M ii. Living Brewer was born in Gillham, Sevier County, Arkansas.

Emma married William Edward "Pop" Elliott son of James William Elliott and Mary Ellen Cottrill on 13 May 1926 in Nebraska. William was born on 25 Aug 1896 in St. Joseph, Buchanan, Missouri. He died on 18 Jun 1984 in Denver, Colorado. He was buried on 22 Jun 1984 in Ft. Logan Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.

31. William Harold Brewer (John William, Pleasant Amos, Russell, Pleasant) was born on 1 Jan 1916 in Philps City, Missouri. He died on 9 May 1995 in Denver, Denver County, Colorado. He was buried in Green Hill, Denver, Colorado.
